How to tear up a new house

The workers put a hydraulic jackhammer on the front of their skid steer loader.  In the process of jackhammering the floor out, they jack hammered through our basement wall, which is poured concrete.  They also cracked our outside garage wall in two places. The basement wall is severely damaged.  A section approximately  7 feet X 2 feet is shoved in about 2".  The rest of the wall is cracked on a diagonal the entire length of the wall, with several other smaller cracks coming off that crack.  The reason for the damage is that the concrete workers put the jackhammer chisel between the walls and the floor.  Oh, they also ran into our garage door and door framing with the bobcat... Read more...

RYAN HOMES – Ryan Homes Defects and Damages -
This site is an example of many similar situations in new home horror stories. And it's only getting worse with laws that give you less rights as a buyer, and smarter contracts that require you to terminate your constitutional rights to free speech, and to legal action for criminal negligence.

Ryan  Homes Distroys Families
In case we turn up as a mysterious death case
I was warned by a Mr. J Winston Read, VP Richmond division of Ryan Homes , NVR was a big powerful entity that could destroy me, and “for my own good” to stop complaining about criminal negligence his company was clearly guilty of in building our home. It has been some years, and I was wondering when you planned on destroying me, as I’ve told thousands since his threatening comments. My goal is to reach one million people and let them know what your company is really capable of. Buying one of your products has nearly destroyed me and my family. My home was destroyed, my health, my finances…you didn’t need to threaten to do anything more. If everyone in the U.S. knew our complete and true story about our honest experience with your company, you couldn’t find a single buyer for any of your products. Our commitment is to make sure they do. So you know before it happens, though we have numerous logs saved showing NVR hits to our website. The site will be moved to the registered name of Ryanhomesnightmare.com eventually.

Currently we’re living in an apartment. We moved over 3 years ago when the defective home became medically uninhabitable, while still under the “so called” warranty. After defects were all found and repaired we needed toxic mold remediation, smoke and fire damage remediation, and complete renovation of the inside of the house twice. Since homeowners insurance does not cover builder defects, Ryan Homes would not fix any damages we’ve paid for the restoration and massive expenses through debt and out of pocket. Though we despise the home now, would never live in anything NVR touched intentionally, we must return to it as the home has wrecked us financially, not to mention physical and mental stress it’s caused for years. We can’t afford a real home anymore.
