When David Vickers built his dream home, he indulged every fantasy. The Mandarin manse is set on a 2.73-acre lot, behind a wide, well-tended lawn expansive enough to give three live oaks room to spread out to full majesty. In the front of the house, a large white urn outfitted as a fountain sprays water into the air.
