Per manufacturer specs this siding is required to have 1/8'' gap at all joints. However, you must fill this gap with a latex caulking. So, get off the couch,stop eating chips, get ladder and fix... (13-08-07)

a builder:
Per manufacturer specs this siding must be painted again after it is installed or else the warranty is void. Typically the GC would contract for this. (03-07-08)
