Fairhaven Homeowners
Expose Severity of Foundation Failures
Press
Conference will be held by Homeowners for Better Building along with Fairness
for Fairhaven NOW homeowners.
Location: Fairhaven Subdivision â 5408 Storm King, Schertz, Texas
Date and Time: Wednesday, July 11, 2012

Schertz, Texas â Security fences and
guards. This is what Pulte did not
want anyone to see.
It is
not uncommon that homes 2 years old and less in the Fairhaven subdivision are experiencing
failure on 4 to 5 or even 6 foundations in a row, on just one side of the
street. Then across the street the same thing is happening. See the damage to the featured home located
at 5408 Storm King as the result of major
foundation cracks. Doors stick or fail
to close, plumbing pulled apart and the floor tile has been replaced 3 times as
the foundation is splitting in half.
Another Example: âThings are not as advertised or what they are cracked up to
be.â

On June 7, the US Attorney General asked the Federal
Bureau of Investigations (FBI) to investigate Pulte Homes and D.R. Horton, the
nationâs two largest homebuilders as the result of Texas homeowner complaints
claiming construction defects and evidence of falsification of Builder
Certifications HUD Form 92541. HUDâs Office of Inspector General
(OIG) also confirmed it had
opened an investigation.
