Lennar fails to disclose defects and expansive soil |

Expansive soil was not fully disclosed
It would seem the City of Hutto put too much trust in Lennar and it was blinded by collecting more tax revenue. If they had inspected, we would not be having this discussion. Dan McDowell is the city employee that is partially responsible for these problems. A quote from Dan McDowell, âEverything that is built in Hutto goes through me.â What a joke! Of course, the problems are very important when the real problem is not addressed. The problem is about honesty, trust, integrity and ethics. You can use any normative ethical principle to analyze this situation and will come up with the same conclusion. You must fully disclose. |

Bombs May Be Buried Under 54 Homes; Crews To Dig Up Properties

World War II-era rockets and a grenade were found buried underground this week about 1,000 feet behind Odyssey Middle School and just yards from the Warwick subdivision. Lennar home builders told the homeowners that a munitions consultant they recently hired identified metal objects on all 54 of their home sites. "What happens next is that we go in and start digging these things out of the ground," Lennar Division President Wayne Broedel said. Related builder story: KB Home's $1.9M Taxpayer Bomb Clean up |
