SOME of the tips on researching a builder for financial soundness are good ones, but the writer is either oblivious of, or afraid to mention, problems with Pulte's or other builders' frequent construction defect problems.  The author cites JD Power as a reliable source LOL!  Also at the very end, the author urges the buyer to make sure they get one of those worthless warranties that usually trap you into arbitration, and exclude coverage of nearly everything anyway.  The article could almost be a press release by Pulte, disguised as a consumer question and answer column.  I'm not familiar w/that column or author, so I can't say if this is a fake or a real column.
