Please help us get the word out and post on this thread at:

http://www.fortbendnow.com/news/3080/allied-blocking-of-weather-radar-by-17-story-landfill-not-a-matter-of-public-welfare

This site is monitored by our local politicians and we need to get the word out to them for the safety of all houstonians during hurricane events. The company involved does not want the 3 t.v. stations involved in this contested hearing. PLEASE POST, if you can.

Dec. 29th 2007 Update on BRLFE contested hearing.

TCEQ executive director continues to favor landfill company over  thousands of homeowners. See:

Hello HOBB,

We're in the midst of Fort Bend County elections with city council and school board races coming up. Anyone within that jurisdiction is requested to please get involved and contact MCC/CRD to help out. We are again trying to drive the special interests out of our local city gov't (mostly large development companies controlling our mayor). We have 3 candidates running and a good grass-roots group.

Help if you can--

Update:

The landfill court case has entered a phase of requested settlement talks (requested by the landfill company). We will update this as the need warrants. Many homeowners consider this a small victory of sorts, but we will wait and see.
