o.K.  we know that no one is going to buy our lemons, but Cindy and I are stirring it up again.  We got professional designed signs (for sale by owner) to place in our front lawns, and I spent the last two days developing a web site for our houses.  Definitely a tongue in cheek site.   Grin

I actually thought of doing something like this. I wanted to advertise our home for sale, but at actual cost, not actual market value. I thought we'd ask 640,000 for it to cover all financial losses and debt it holds. It's market value is around 170,000. Just a public way to make a point, our Ryan Homes home appreciated in value like all others, but Ryan Homes may need a "little" maintenance to keep their value up.

Hope it works for you!

We were going to put prices on the page, but thought if there was anyone really interested, we would let them know later.  The builder gets to see my sign every single day since I am catty-corner to the construction trailer. They just loooovveee it. There is not much they can do about the sign because it is within the evil HOA covenants.  Grin  oh well

I am hoping the person that was bamboozled into buying the lot next door will do some checking into the site.  The basement was poured the same time mine was but was not finished. Of course the builder will tell you it was because the buyer backed out, but I know that isn't the truth.  Every house except for mine and one other was a spec home.  You know they would have built it, if there wasn't a problem.   I find it totally disgusting and can only hope that people that scam others like this will eventually rot in hell.  oooo too much coffee this morning.

I'm totally with you. Our builder's CEO (Dwight Schar) is sunning at his 71,000,000 home in Florida, not yet in Hell. My hopes are a hurricane will wipe out his home, and the insurance company will cite some BS exclusion clause, or send him to their arbiter, and after getting yanked around for months or years, he finds must eat the entire loss, like he makes his customers do.

Unfortunately he could afford the loss with little detriment to his quality of living. He used shareholders money to buy it anyway.

Everyone needs a theme song:
The Twelve Days of Christmas revised: 12-Months of Pulte Homeownership, written by Cynthia Daugherty

12-Months of Pulte Homeownership

On the first month of homeownership,
Pulte gave to me
A backwards laundry room.

On the second month of homeownership,
Pulte gave to me
two improperly supported bay windows,
And a backwards laundry room.

On the third month of homeownership,
Pulte gave to me
Three cracked foundation walls,
Two improperly supported bay windows,
And a backwards laundry room.

On the fourth month of homeownership,
Pulte gave to me
Four walls with water intrusion,
Three cracked foundation walls,
Two improperly supported bay windows,
And a backwards laundry room.

On the fifth month of homeownership,
Pulte gave to me
Five engineering reports,
Four walls with water intrusion,
Three cracked foundation walls,
Two improperly supported bay windows,
And a backwards laundry room.

On the sixth month of homeownership,
Pulte gave to me
Six pages of building code violations,
Five engineering reports,
Four walls with water intrusion,
Three cracked foundation walls,
Two improperly supported bay windows,
And a backwards laundry room.

On the seventh month of homeownership,
Pulte gave to me
Seven unhappy sales agents,
Six pages of building code violations,
Five engineering reports,
Four walls with water intrusion,
Three cracked foundation walls,
Two improperly supported bay windows,
And a backwards laundry room.

On the eighth month of homeownership,
Pulte gave to me
Eight misplaced pier pads,
Seven unhappy sales agents,
Six pages of building code violations,
Five engineering reports,
Four walls with water intrusion,
Three cracked foundation walls,
Two improperly supported bay windows,
And a backwards laundry room.

On the ninth month of homeownership,
Pulte gave to me
Nine weeks (and counting) of HOA fines,
Eight misplaced pier pads,
Seven unhappy sales agents,
Six pages of building code violations,
Five engineering reports,
Four walls with water intrusion,
Three cracked foundation walls,
Two improperly supported bay windows,
And a backwards laundry room.

On the tenth month of homeownership,
Pulte gave to me
Ten years of meaningless warranty,
Nine weeks (and counting) of HOA fines,
Eight misplaced pier pads,
Seven unhappy sales agents,
Six pages of building code violations,
Five engineering reports,
Four walls with water intrusion,
Three cracked foundation walls,
Two improperly supported bay windows,
And a backwards laundry room.

On the eleventh month of homeownership,
Pulte gave to me
Eleven angry "Happy Homeowners",
Ten year meaningless warranty,
Nine weeks (and counting) of HOA fines,
Eight misplaced pier pads,
Seven unhappy sales agents,
Six pages of building code violations,
Five engineering reports,
Four walls with water intrusion,
Three cracked foundation walls,
Two improperly supported bay windows,
And a backwards laundry room.

On the twelfth month of homeownership,
Pulte gave to me
Twelve reasons to regret buying a Pulte home,
Eleven angry "Happy Homeowners",
Ten year meaningless warranty,
Nine weeks (and counting) of HOA fines,
Eight misplaced pier pads,
Seven unhappy sales agents,
Six pages of building code violations,
Five engineering reports,
Four walls with water intrusion,
Three cracked foundation walls,
Two improperly supported bay windows,
And a backwards laundry room.
