I must say TRCC’s Press Release is by far the “Best Halloween Prank” of the year!  This is one of many TRCC year-round smoke and mirrors jokes contrived by TRCC and the Texas Association of Builders joint venture in Public Relations spin.

Make no mistake these Notice of Violations are meaningless since there is no fine or penalty for even the most egregious builder that is issued one.  This so-called action is simply a worthless list of smalltime, fly-by-night builders that got a “Notice of Violation.”   

The frightening side of this news is contractors will laugh in the faces of their victims.  Proving once again that TRCC encourages continued predatory business practice while giving a false sense of security to Texas new homebuyers and victims of hurricane Ike while well established unscrupulous builders are secure in their TRCC builder protection agency.  Don’t be misled by bad Texas State Policy run by the giant homebuilding industry.
