Title: Rating comment: wishes he would've listened Post by: Jane Doe on November 06, 2007, 05:14:40 pm Wow, what happened, did the board lose old posts? I can't believe there is nothing under KB Home. Maybe this recent rating on RateYourBuilder will suffice:
http://www.rateyourbuilder.com/search-community-ratings/stateid-6/metroid-17640/communityid-3099/ Quote Comments: The worst Home ever! This is the worst home i ever bought. And I read all the bad reviews about Kb home and I still didn't listened. Shame on me. I asked the salesman about the bad reviews, he said, " We fixed all thos problems we had in the past." BULLSH-T. He lied about about features of the home and after moving in, within a month everything started falling apart. Electrical sockets don't work. bad plumbing. Even the customer service guy said " we didn't have a good plumber on this project." The doors on my kitchen and bathroom cabinets are falling off and the say " we don't cover that." One of the kitchen doors fell on the foot of the kb customer service rep when he was in my home and he still says we don't cover it. This is the worst home I ever seen in my life. The home is barely a year old. I wonder whats going to happen in 2 years. Title: Re: Rating comment: wishes he would've listened Post by: Noah Mason on November 06, 2007, 11:10:03 pm Our HOA filed a lawsuit on september 29th i belive the date was for construction defects against KB homes. Most of the stuff is not major, some can be if not corrected quickly.
KB is still up to its same ole tricks. Our bathroom wall is a problem, I have to take a stud finder to it this weekend, I do not belive they built this wall with the right stud spacing, i get about 1/2"-1" deflection if i press in on the wall. not happy at all with our purchase, and we did not get it from KB directly, we are the second owner.
